Where to Save Your Office 2007 Themes
When you install Office 2007, a set of default themes is installed to this folder on both Windows Vista and Windows XP:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Document Themes 12.

Text shadows vs shape shadows
PowerPoint has a two different types of shadows: text shadows and shape shadows.
Text shadows are added by clicking the shadow icon on the Formatting toolbar (PPT 2003) or the Home tab (PPT 2007).
Woohoo! A taskpane lists all objects on the slide. We can rename objects (and that name shows up in the custom animation taskpane, YEAH!), change the stacking order, and make the object visible or invisible in the pane.

PPT 2007 allows you to create a variety of slide master layouts now — chart slide layouts, subtitle slide layouts, table slide layouts, picture slide layouts, whatever you want. And they provide a bunch of ’em for us, too.

Adding Custom Colors to the Color Picker
You can add your own custom colors to an Office 2007 theme (.THMX file extension). In the screenshot below, you can see three custom colors — they show up in their own section
