Color Schemes and PowerPoint 2007

1. We can add our own placeholders to slide masters!

Color schemes are even more important in PowerPoint 2007 than they were in previous versions.

If you don't know about color schemes, you may want to read about them here so you understand the principles behind color schemes in PowerPoint. Even though the page is about color schemes in previous versions of PowerPoint, these fundamentals are still the same.

Here's how

1. View (ribbon) | Presentation Views (chunk) | Slide Master to open master view.

2. Select a slide layout on the left.

3. Click Insert Placeholder and choose a type of placeholder.

4. Click and drag on the slide to create the placeholder.
